caller ID name change

when i was with sprint and made calls to home phones it would show my dad's name (he got me the phone).. i know with sprint you can change the name so i've heard from a sprint employee... does t-mobile show the name on the caller ID? if not thank jesus, coz i don't really like that... also.. if they do, would you be able to change it like sprint?

i know a lot of questions, but what can I say, im new to t-mobile. yall can welcome me to the family later.

tmobile does show the name... but u can call them and they can change it to say "unknown name" or sumthin else i think...cuz my phone says unknown name but it really doesnt matter since i call to other cell phones instead of house phones anyways

You can also call and ask the caller ID to be changed to your name. The phone line will still be in your dad's name, however, your name will show up instead of his.

i called n got them to change it but it still shows my name so now i gotta call them back again lol
