Hornet Hockey, you can download and install ringtones right from your phone.
However, the best thing to do is to register myt-mobile.com, because once you are registered you will be able to listen to the ringtones prior to downloading them. Also, you can send them to your phone straight from the website.
Go to www.myt-mobile.com and register yourself. You'll have a password sent to your phone in the form of a text message. Enter the password onto the website and your registration will be complete. Once you have entered the website, you will be able to change your password or just keep the one you were given.
The website is also great for monitoring your minute usage, downloading games, wallpapers, adding + deleting features to your account, and tracking your monthly bills (up to past 3 months).

Yes, if you have ringtones on your computer you can put them on your phone. You will need a data cable that connects from your computer to your phone. Also, there is a program that is sold at Best Buy that allows you to create ringtones. It sells for about $20 and I can't remember the name of it, however I'm pretty sure there are numerous create-your-own-ringtone programs out there.
When downloading a ringtone from www.myt-mobile.com, no cable connection to your phone is necessary. The ringtone is sent over the air.
