I cancelled my $5.99 T-mobile web subscription since I could not be able to go to any URL using the T-mobile web. Everytime I typed in a web address (outside t-zone) on the URL, it always asked me to subscribe to $5.99 unlimited T-mobile web service page.
I decided to call a T-mobile rep. and he said that my Motorola V360 is not compatible with the T-mobile web. Is this really true?
even yahoo address won`t load up- only goes back to t-mobileweb subscription page.
Http:\\www.yahoo.com
Need comments pls.

AWGD8,
T-MobileWeb and T-Zones is the same thing. T-Mobile Internet is different. Sidekick and Blackberry Internet are another thing...
T-MobileWeb/T-Zones lets offers you WAP on your phone. A WAP page is like a webpage made for a cellphone.
T-Mobile Internet is like the internet you get on your home computer. You can only get T-Mobile Internet on a wireless aircard... for example the Sony Erricson GC89.
Sidekick and BlackBerry Data is the closest thing to the internet you have at home. On these devices, you can visit www.yahoo.com the same way you would at home, except the page does not display the same way it would at home.
To give you an example of a website and a wapsite, try the following:
On your moto v360, go to www.polyphonicringtonez.com/wap
Then, on your home computer simply go to polyphonicringtonez.com

I have another nokia phone 3220 and never had this problem...Last edited by AWGD8; 02-02-2006 at 09:45 PM.

I see. It is because you do not have UNLIMITED T-Zones/T-MobileWeb. You can get on T-MobileWeb and shop for ringtones, wallpapers, and games all you want. However, if you want to view different WAP sites, you have to pay $5.99 per month.
If you are registered on T-Mobile.com, log-in and check to see if your phone line with the 3220 has unlimited T-Zones, chances are that it does. While there, you can also add unlimited T-Zones for your V360. PM too, while your at it.

T-Zones is internet on a T-Mobile phone. However, it is not half as good as the internet you get on your sidekick II.
