Hey guys, first poster here. Got a quick question...

Right now I have a single line through T-Mobile, 600 mins. My family's contract with Sprint just expired and I want to get them on T-Mobile as well. My question is can I buy new phones through Amazon and get them for the discounted price while changing my current plan to a Family Plan and adding them (3 other lines)? There is only one free phone on T-Mobile right now, and none of my family wants that one, but Amazon has a couple better deals, so I'd like to get their 3 phones through Amazon.

    Thanks in advance.

you can get them through amazon, but take into consideration that if they wind up not liking those phones when they arive, they have to send them back to amazon, you can't get them exchanged at a t-mobile store. Also remember that Amazon is not T-Mobile, so if something isn't done right such as shipping or contract features, T-Mobile will not give you any credit, you'll have to pursue corrections through Amazon. The 14 day trial period does not get pushed back just because you ordered your phone online, so you have very little time to decide if you wanna keep the service before you try using a different phone. You also gotta make sure you understand your plan, no face to face interraction with a human if you have questions about what you're about to get.

Now, any phone you get from a T-Mobile owned store is backed by a 1 year warranty. If you are given a contract at a T-Mobile owned store, you can go back to that store for all service needs. If you do not like your phone purchased from a T-Mobile owned retail store, you can go back to ANY T-Mobile owned retail store and exchange it. The phone prices at a T-Mobile owned retail store are higher because you get service there. Retail stores have employees to pay. Amazon offers lower prices because most likely you'll end up buying more than just a phone while you're on their website, and they don't have to pay anyone commision.

No matter where you choose to do business, T-Mobile offers the best value in family plans, features, and services. Be sure to take advantage of the unlimited messaging for families for only $10 a month.
