when do i switch?

OK-- this is the deal:

my verizon contract is up May 10th (two weeks from tomorrow- yes, Im counting down the days!!! ) and I was wondering when I should switch to Tmobile? The day of? The day after? Should I switch a few days before and just have them switch our numbers on the 10th? Whats the protocol?

I hope I love Tmobile as much as I've built it up to be- HAHA I really want a sidekick!!!!

If it was me, I'd switch the day after. That way there is no mistaking when you are out of contract.

Make sure to end your service or you will be carried month to month. I would allow a day overlap to charge the new phone battery and make sure, if this is important to you, that you are not w/o disruption of service. I would check ahead w/ T-Mobile and find out if there is any delay to service if you opt for portability of ph. #. Just some thoughts.
