I just found out that in certain Western markets, the Get More 1000 Plus plan is being offered at the same price as the Get More 1000 plan [the diff: free nights/weekends].

(Sorry, ya have to cut-and-paste the URL to see the promo. won't let me link yet. I'm still a n00b)

This will go away after about a month. You have to put your zip code into the rate plan search box to see if it's available. I don't know how T-Mobile expects for this promo to draw in new customers if you have to find out about it accidentally.

I know that the subject matter in most of these threads is about hardware, contracts, roaming, etc., but the Rate Plan is the long-term cash commitment. By all means, if you hear of a promo on a rate plan, post it.

The Get More 1000 with unlimited nights and weekends has been $49.99/mo. for quite some time. Check out this thread: http://cellphoneforums.net/t-mobile/...t-mobile+rates

If you check the link, you will see that it is offered for $39.99 in certain Western markets. This started within the past week. It is called the Get More 1000 PROMO.

Does it have unlimited nights and weekends? Because on the link you gave, it has the $39.99/mo. 1000 min. with no nights and weekends, which has been around for awhile. For the same price you can get 1500 minutes with no nights and weekends.

T-Mobile's links are not always consistent, so you may have to go to the change location link at the top left of the plan page and then key in your zip code. Then you'll see a Get More 1000 PROMO among the other plan choices in some markets. I know that it's going on in LA for ex [90001].

But this is getting to the purpose of creating this thread.

Some of these promos are not going to jump out at you, so if you find one, by all means post it. I also heard that the Take Control overage protection plan [as distiguished from the Smart Access] may be coming soon in a few markets east of the Mississippi. These options are not prominently linked. You have to dig for them.

Okay, I see it when I put in that zip code and not mine. So, it must not be in the Dallas market yet. It is a really good plan though, we had it awhile back and I encouraged all of my customers to jump on it.
