Sims card help please!

Hey guys and gals was just wondering if anyone could explain to me a problem im having. i have a samsung Samsung t309, my friend got a razor and gave me his Samsung t509s - Plum but when i switch the sim card it says that there is no sims card. anyone know why? i thaught they were all capatable.

Sounds like the problem is the t509. If the sim card works in the t309 and both are T-Mobile phones, must be the t509. If the phone is still covered under the warranty, I would try and get a new one.

or maybe its becuz the new samsungs are garbage....
id kno ive been thru 2 of the same fone in less than a year...
