My dad (a twelve'o'clock flasher meaning every piece of technology he owns is still flashing 12:00) is thinking about getting a smartphone on T. What he wants is a phone sans confusing menus and texting (he's very curious about texting for some reason, but it's hard to on his ancient audiovox) but with the capability to send e-mails and most importantly, check his stocks. It also wouldn't hurt if he could get his own internet billing system on it so he could leave his buggy tablet at home once and for all. What do you think of:
- BB Pearl
- Sidekick
- MDA
- Dash
- any others.
Which do you think hase the simplest interface and can do what he wants?

The Pearl's interface is rather simple compared to the MDA and Dash in my opinion. I really like the pearl due to it's size and weight. It also allows data transfer through bluetooth which is good.

Since Sidekick 3 and Blackberry 8100 Pearl is on your list, you will be interested on my chart comparing those two phones. Lots of people ask about it so I decided to do a chart on those two phones.
