Re: sidekick 3
Well just check the phones out...sounds like the features you want are pretty basic and tmobile has plenty of phones with those capabilities...I would just test em out and see whats best for you.

Re: sidekick 3
i wouldnt recommend the sidekick3 to you if you're going to be using it often. such as listening to music often on it; or e-mailing with it all the time. the reason is because the battery life on it is really bad. thats why i sold mine and got another phone. being the fact that the sidekick3 battery is removable from the device, you will have to buy a new battery every time an old one burns out. unlike the sidekick2 the battery was not removable and the battery life was a lot longer.

Re: sidekick 3
I'm new to the forum and a new customer to T-Mobile. I recently bought a Sidekick 3 and I dont like it. Does anyone know the difference/similarities to the Blackberry 8700g?? And on another note....does anyone no how to shut off the "Call Waiting" for the Sidekick 3? I dont like the fact the my girlfriend knows when i get a call when i'm on the phone with her. that's annoying. Thanks.

Did you just post this?
Anyway...
Sidekick 3 is garbage.
Check out my chart and you will find a much better phone.

There's no way to shut off call waiting. That's standard for all cell phones and for all carriers.

Re: sidekick 3
I know the Sidekick 3 doesn't have all the powerful features compared to the Blackberry's, but for someone like myself who is 14, doesn't it do plenty. I dont need any corparate e-mail functions and for $20 a month i get unlimited IM, Text, and Internet Browsing. For omseone like myself who doesn't need anything to much, will the Sidekick 3 operate fine. And as far as it size goes, is overly bulky like many make it out to be?

Re: sidekick 3
Yes, I'm back!!!
Instead of just focusing on the number of features in all the phones, I would focus on what's important to you. Sure, the Sidekick 3 isn't the pinnacle of high-end technology, but it does what I need it to do, which is text a lot, look stuff up on the web, send an occasional e-mail, make a call, and play a tune every once in a while. It's also not that big and is more comfortable than a clamshell when talking on it. Plus, The Pearl's odd keyboard bothered me too much.
If you wait, the Treo 680 will be sold by T-Mobile (perhaps Monday.) The Blackberry 8800, which is essentially a cross between the 8700 and Pearl, is also coming out soon. What's my girlfriend doing in your five?
