I just want to introduce myself, my name is Tony and I work as a CSR1 for T-Mobile. I am sure that there are other T-Mo employees here, but if anyone has a question I will do my best to help out.

Re: New guy
Hey thanks man, i'm here as well and a very happy t-mobile customers. I couldn't believe the first time I called t-mobile and they said "welcome to the t-mobile family." That floored me, I would never expect anything even remotely polite at Cingular. At that moment with those exact words I knew switching to T-mobile was the right choice.

I am glad to hear that you are happy with T-Mobile. I have heard horror stories about the service from other companies, and while there is a chance that you will get a bad rep on the phone once in a great while, there is a reason for all those JD Powers & Assoc. awards. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with.

Unfortunately, we don't find out about any new phones until a few weeks before the release. As an example, we didn't know about the white BB Pearl until the last week in December and it was released to the public on Jan 15th. I will keep my eyes open and let everyone know about new phones coming up. Haven't heard anthing about the a new razr yet.

Re: New guy
We just got the white Pearl a few days ago for my girlfriend. At first she didn't like it, but that was just because she wasn't familiar with it. After a day or two she was just fine and barely lets me touch it. The camera (and flash) work great and even I am getting adjusted to the way it works. BB has a love/hate relationship with it's users, it is one or the other, and I have yet to see someone anywhere near the middle. Most of the people I talk to will not ever use anything else. I give is a thumbs up based on my limited experience. Do you think your friend might let you try it out for a couple days, if so, add the BB feature (19.99 per month) and just keep it on while you have it, T-Mo will prorate the charges for any feature. That way you can be sure, if you can't swing that, you can always upgrade in the store since you have 14 days to return it.

No, not really, I mean it is loaded up with all the BB goodies and wi-fi, but I haven't really done any digging on it because it's not something I would own, the only reason I have the Pearl is for the girlfriend.
