If you have a question about a policy with T-Mobile or just how a particular transaction would work, feel free to post it here and I will do my best to get it answered for you.

Re: Ask the CSR...
I spoke to a CSR at T-Mobile yesterday regarding issues with coverage at my daughter’s school - basically there is no coverage in Iowa City and when there is it roams on the I Wireless network. She was very courteous and suggested that I try to find someone to take over my plan that would be moving to an area with no coverage and they could cancel without paying an ETF or "move". My question is how do they verify if the info I give them is correct? She told me I could supply a lease but how do they know that I am really moving?

Re: Ask the CSR...
In the event that you move to an area outside of T-Mobiles coverage, the ETF can be waived by you sending in a copy of a lease with your name , a utility bill in your name, or an updated Driver's License, all of which need to show the new address. As far as going out to check on you, no we won't waste our time on that. I can imagine how frustrating it is for your daughter to have to deal with all of the hassles involved with roaming, but would it be possible for her to send the phone back to you so someone else could use it (possible Change of Responsibility) and then get a phone from a carrier that offers coverage where she is?

Re: Ask the CSR...
I have T-mobile in USA. I have MDA phone WITHOUT $29.99 data add on.
I only have $60/mo voice plan.
1. Is it possible to browse internet via MDA without $29.99 add on plan?
2. Is it possible to use MDA as modem connected to my laptop to access internet without $29.99 add on plan?
3. If answer to 1 and 2 is yes, is there a per minute charge ?
