My old phone had a bit of an echo, so I called T-Mobile to upgrade my phone. After having me check for water damage (there was none), they suggested I just get a replacement since my old phone Samsung x495 was still under warranty. They I check my bill and there is a $119 charge for "Out of Warranty". T-Mobile said there was really water damage on the inside of the phone even though there was none under the battery. What are my options?

He has a new phone from the exchange program, as far as options for the water damage, that charge is not contestable. Even if the LDI was white under the battery, it was then sent to Samsung where the obviously found a red LDI in the phone or corrosion on the circuit board.
I hope its obvious that my views do not express the views of T-mobile. Anything I say should be viewed as my own opinion & no reflection on the company I work for.

I repair cell phones. True, the LDI doesnt really mean a thing. It is amazing how just one tiny component under a shield on the system board can affect a phone.
