OK - So I have a T-mobile MDA with GPRS setting set to always on ( I think I hacked the registry...to set the value to always on..not sure)...

I also have this weather program on my phone that downloads weather data every 30 minutes....it does this by establishing a connection to GPRS and then downloading data for about 1 min...

So, for a while now, If I'm talking to a friend on the phone ...and it gets to say 15 mins...or 20 mins....my phone will cut off and it will show X on the signal bar and it will pop up a msg saying "GPRS connecting..."

So, eventually I figured out that maybe I'm getting cut off b/c this program is connecting to GPRS ....

So, my question is, could this be the case? Can the GPRS interfere with phone calls? Is it supposed to?

What can I do to fix this? Should I turn off "GRPS always on"?
