Call T-Mobile, if you have insurance they will replace the lost phone, you only have to pay the deductible for the replacement. If you don't have insurance, you'll have to pay full price for a new phone. Regarding the
SIM card, if you call T-Mobile customer care and upgrade your phone through them, they will in many cases give you the new
SIM for free, but if you go to the T-Mobile Store or if you just replace the same phone you already had, you might have to pay $19.99 for a new
SIM. Yes, you can keep your same contract, even if you upgrade the phone (or if you buy a used one on eBay)... as long as you don't make any changes to the terms of your contract (changes to the contract itself will renew your 1 or 2 year term).
