tmobile wing and ie

i have a t mobil wing and i got the t-mobile ulimited for the $5.99 a month fo rthe internet explorer. it was working perfect i could surf every website with it. as of yesterday it just stopped working. i called customer service and they said its because i dont have the unlimited data plan for $30 a month. i think its bull crap. there is obviously a way around the more expensive plan and still be able to surf the web. can anyone helpwith this. i dont know if t mobile caught it then blocked it or what but i think its just a scam to get more money from its customers. why pay $30 if i dont need the hot spot crap or unlimited email. help please help

Whoa! That is kind of a scam. I was considering to let go of my sk3 for a tmobile wing lol but then I saw the prices for the plans. I agree, whats the point of buying the whole total internet plan if you don't even need the emails & etc. Maybe you should call them again and just tell them you only want the internet to browse and not the email? Maybe there is a way to get through that..

I dont know if this still works or not but...


a while ago I was going to buy an MDA

but I saw that the MDA internet price was like 30 bucks (compared to the sidekicks 20 dollar package) because of the hotspot access or something like that.

Someone suggested to log onto tmobiles website and change your phone to a sidekick and buy the side kick plan...

yeah do that, on my other line I had a t629, with the sk internet plan because me & my bro had switch phones.

he upgraded his old sk2 for a t629, and i had the sk2, but the internet was still for the t629. I had to call cust. srvc. and they swapped the plans for me.

I'm pretty sure if you switch you're phone on the website, and purchase the tmob internet for 5.99/month maybe it'll work again.

yes there as a glitch in the system at one time where T-zones was working on phones that required internet plans, then one day it didnt, customers were really mad becuz now they had to change there plans to the total internet plans, i dont see the problem with that though, people that were paying the $5.99 new what they were doing, why should everyone pay higher becuase they are not as greedy as some people...
