    ok well first of all im new to the forums so just want to say hello. Now my question I am currenty under contract with T-Mobile, and I had heard some things about getting out of the contract for free. I was wondering if that is true, I do live where I dont have any service and my friends live in the country to so I cant get any service out there so I was wondering if I still had to pay to get out of my contract or if I could get out of it for free. and also my friend is on my plan and doesant get service so will that alter any options that I may have. cause I dont mind paying for one but I dont want to pay for both of them. So any help could be wonderful.

    PS. I first had my service when I lived near the city so I had bars but dont now, and If I goto my T-mobile store can I get anther copy of my current contract since I cant find mine?

    thanks bunches

    @Coryhi, Welcome to the site
    IMHO if you dont have service in your new area...you should get out free.
    Try TMo website.

    You definitely want to read the fine print regarding cancellation. You could probably get out if the quality of service is unacceptable or non-existence.

    All I can say is call CS (customer service) and let them know you're not getting any service. Roaming are extra charges so I would not mention that until they bring it up. They'll probably try to upgrade your plan to stay with them,be firm that you're not happy and want to cancel.

    Each call you make to CS is noted, try to speak with a supervisor or higher.
