Need help with an odd issue

I have t-mobile and every phone I've had has been a quad band and unlocked so that I can use it in europe (spain). over there I have a pay as you go card, so when i get there i just slip it into my phone and i'm set. what i need assistance with is, which quad band phone would you guys recommed that has internet capabilities. my use of phone is simple, make calls and receive them, but now i need the internet when i'm out there. also, the phones list, email, browser and internet. if i'm able to get into the internet can't i access my email? doesn't the internet consist of browsers? i want to be able to access any site as well as my hotmail account. any replys would be appreciated. thanks.

if the phone is a quad band it should have Internet access .. the one I personally use is a quad-band phone (Nokia 6133) is a quad band (850/900/1800/1900) and has Internet access .. check the T-Mobile website to confirm that the service provider in Spain offers data (Internet) access and the cost
