Can I assign an individual ringtone to each person and ALSO have it play that sound when that person texts? Or is it like the Motorola W490 where you can't assign individual tones to texts, only calls? I need to know as I'm considering purchasing this phone... but I'd like to be able to hear the same tone when a person calls as when they text.  | |||||||

No, not that I know of. After reading your post, I tinkered around with my Z3 and wasn't able to.

i have the rizr and im able to give each person a ringtone that choose i dont know what the guy above me is talking about. you just edit their phone book name and where its say ringtone assign them one. ez breezy | |||||
