need help with new fone..

i jus bought a new sidekick 3 dwayne wade edition from my friend..i jus got it todayy.. but i jus tried putting my sim in and it said waiting for activation.. is that normal?? cuz i turned it off right away when it said that.. help please

lol you need to register your sim card with tmobile sidekick service. without it it wont work as a sidekick... call them and add that feature. if you wish to use the phone in the meantime do the circles button + letter T i believe. if im mistaken correct me. But to get service you definetively need to call tmobile and get a sidekick plan. Then restart your phone and follow the directions on how to make your own account or use an existing sidekick username.

This really works. I had the same problem switching to a blackberry from the dash. Once I called in to make the changes everything started working just fine.

oh ok thnks so much i'll jus sell it again.. xD i wanna get a blackberry curve.. do i also need a plan for a blackberry??

i have a tmobile sidekick 3 and was wondering if anyone new the code to unlock the phone so that i can switch it over to an at&t phone, when i put in the sd card to my other at&t phone it needs an 8 number code. can anyone help me?
