No T-Mobile Service Yesterday

There was near-panic yesterday in Manhattan in T-Mobile stores. All the users of T-Mobile suddenly had their phone service disrupted for hours, but only in Manhattan. Is this common? Nothing was said by the news media and no explanation nor apology given by T-Mobile. Surely they knew about it. Fortunately, I wasn't expecting any calls but imagine those who were. Disgraceful!

I would consider several hours w/o any service as serious. Suppose I had an emergency call? I have not gotten any response from T-Mobile regarding this. I am sorry that I use T-Mobile service but it is the only 1 I could find that offered pay-as-you go pre-paid service. The others require signing a committment, a service contract as well as giving a credit card number.

i have regular T-mobile service here in Texas and didnt have any problems

Wow had to do what we had to do 30yrs ago before cell phones. Use a land line for emergency calls.

Of course I could use a land line but I call I was expecting was given my cell #. I see how reliable cell service is. I should have kept my land line after all!
