$19.99 Tot. Int. add on and compatiple plans

I use T-mo as my secondary carrier mainly for mobile internet use and very light calling. I currently use the Business 300 plan that's $29.99/mo but found an even cheaper plan for $19.99/mo that fits my needs better. It's only 60 min/weekends, 60 min/weekends and 500 m2m but that works for me.

Anyway, I changed my plan online (will go through next billing cycle) and added TIP but I received a call telling me that it wouldn't work. Does having the $19.99/mo requires a voice plan of $29.99/mo and up?

While on the subject of plans, when I was looking on my account, I noticed a slew of plans that's not shown on the regular plan page on Tmobile.

total internet (and bb, SK, VPN) requires plans $30 or higher

That sucks! I'll prob wind up just moving to an Internet only option. Thanks.

I was able to change it to keep Internet/hotspots I just checked my account online (new billing started today) and I have:

Total Internet-$19.99
Block Charging Text-Free
Block International Calls-Free

I know I'm in the minority in wanting a lower min. plan, but as I use Tmo for the data more than anything, why not get a few min. thrown in for the same price as Internet Only plan?

I only pay for internet/and unlimited text.....*iPhone*, its about $39 a month, and i get unlimited minutes...just check out Fring, or skype!!...it's pretty cool

Well, to be honest i was talking about regular cell minutes with Tmo and not any VOIP. Skype I use sparingly and it can be a little buggy. Fring more or less uses Skype or your own cellular minutes for calls-at least when I tried it on my Dash. Needless to say, Skype (or Tmo Hotspot calling if you have it) can be a good thing to have if/when your minutes are running low. I was talking about having a cheap data solution/voice plan combo.
