I recently have become in terested in the Google G1 but i have a couple questions and hope someone can help. I went on Tmobile.com and i acted as if i was going to buy the phone, then a pop up came up explaining the 3G network. According to the map that was displayed, T-Mobile has a terrible 3G network. The ranges it is able to reach are a joke. I was wondering if the G1 3G network could somehow use another companies network if i was traveling. ....So i would have the G1 with the TMobile 3G plan but was wondering if the G1 could connect to another companies tower out of range of the TMobile 3G network... Can anyone help explain?
