Is there any way I can upgrade my phone, even though I'm not due for an Upgrade, and pay the cheapest price for the phone. I'm a t-mobile customer and want a new phone, do they have any special deals?

I have the LG8100 and you can download ringtones with it using the "Get it Now" feature on the phone. Make sure the phone you choose has (Get It Now) access. You can download programs for new ringtones right from the phone or go to different websites to get them sent to your phone. On my phone, you can record your own ringtones. That's a really great feature... Below is a link to Verizon and shows all their phones.

If you're not eligible for an upgrade, you're out of luck. Your current phone was subsidized by your current contract. That's why you have to wait.
i also have t mobile!!! u can go 2 a store and tell them u want 2 upgrade ur phone and they'll ask u when ur due for ur upgrade but say that u want ur upgrade now and they'll upgrade it for u

What does this have to do with getting a new phone? Furthermore, the OP is a t-mobile customer, not verizon.

You should read some of his other posts. They have absolutely nothing to do with the original post whatsoever.

You will have a few options. You will have to pay full price for the phone at the retail store, or you may get a small discount (like 30 bucks) and extend your contract another 2 years.

Other options include the following (in no particular order):
    Craigslist/Ebay/other Auction site.
    Newspaper/yardsales
Renting a cell phone (I have the name of a site if interested)
Buying an unlocked phone from a major retailer (Office depot/Walmart website

All of these options will be varied in price, and use (if your using CL or EB) but you may be able to find a great deal, or may get scammed so use at your own risk!

add a line pay the extra line charge. it will cost you an extra 10 bucks a month tho. this way you dont have to pay full price for a phone. swap out your sim card to your new phone. if you decide to cancel the 2nd line im not sure if they will stick you with some sort of fee for canceling a line tho.

If you add a line then cancel it, you will be charged the ETF of 200 or whatever it is.

Also, FYI (didnt think about this before)

If you switch to a Family plan, the 2nd phone is free (plus taxes/fees)

The Family plans are a little more expensive, but if you want a new phone throught T-Mo and dont want a big bite up front, but I think the fee's on my 2nd phone with no extras are like 23 dollars a month, so ~ $23.00 x 24 momths = ~%552/2 years.. vs 200 ETF vs. used phones.

Choice, its seems, is the problem.

Technically it's not free, because the family plan is priced higher. Companies say this as a marketing ploy, but it's really not free. Nothing is if you're paying for service.

Customer's may upgrade anytime they want, however they may not get a good price if they do this on a regular basis. You can't expect to get a cheap price for a phone that you've recently upgraded, it doesn't make sense.
