I have a plan with T-Mobile currently but today I broke my phone. In order to get a phone threw them I'd have to pay the full price because I'm not able to "upgrade" so early in my plan. After just losing my job, that's not an option.

Re: Can I use a prepaid phone?
Yes you can, but I would recomond going to Target, Walmart or somewhere of the like rather than T-Mobile. I tried to do this, and they want you to buy minutes to go with your new phone, and activate it even if your not using it as a "pre-paid".
I have sucessfully done this with 3 phones, and they all worked 100%, just so you know!
