I would like to use a Sanyo Katana-II which is a CDMA phone but I have T-Mobile service, is there any way I can use that phone with T-Mobile?

It would need to have a SIM card slot to be used with T-Mobile. If it doesn't, you can't use it with T-Mobile.

NO, CDMA phones do NOT have SIM cards.

Therefore, CDMA phones will NOT work with T-Mobile (which uses SIM Cards).

Re: Can CDMA phone work with T-Mobile?

People have been trying and trying to jailbreak the blackerry storm and storm 2. I thought one day someone did...but guess what...it was a hoax.

Plus, this is a different situation. Those two phones are GLOBAL PHONES. They feature both and generally will not successfully operate on a GSM network in the USA.

Also, this is irrelevant considering the original poster's device in mind is not global and therefore lacks a SIM Card.

Re: Can CDMA phone work with T-Mobile?

I ran into problems using a CDMA phone on the GSM network. I'm by no means a hacker though. That's really cool.
