T-Mobile will soon be seeing the launch of the T-mobile G2x, which will run on Froyo. The G2x does have a few bugs that need to be worked out, but according to a tweet by T-Mobile USA, an update will soon be released to fix these issues. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread is on its way to the G2x.
The update will turn the unthemed version of Android on the T-Mobile G2x into a set version of Android, allowing the updates to happen automatically without fretting over the additional software problems. There's been no definite time mentioned to as when this update will happen, but we are hoping that it's sooner than later.
