After being a loyal customer to T-Mobile for almost ten years, went to my local store here to try and make some changes. We have recently moved cross country and wanted to change two phone numbers to local numbers here and drop two lines that were no longer being used due to the move. I do understand that we signed up for the contract and it doesn't expire until December but, just assumed (incorrectly, I guess) that they would be willing to work with me and keep me as a customer since I have been loyal so many years. But, I was told by the customer service representative (they are not going to let you talk with a supervisor) that there was nothing they could do. So, I guess come December, they will lose me completely.

I'm not sure if anything can be done in your situation, since T-Mobile is working in the area you've moved to. If you moved to an area where there wasn't coverage, they might allow you to cancel without an Early Termination Fee.

T-Mobile most likely gave you discounted phones from signing a contract, so it wouldn't be fair for them to let you cancel and keep the phones before your contract expires. You can consider selling the phones and paying the Early Termination Fee. Depending on the phone, you might be able to get enough to cover the fee.
