I want to switch to the T-Mobile $30 Walmart/T-Mobile.com plan and wanted to make sure i can receive/send international texts, before i plunge in that direction.
I can use Talkatone to supplement calls within the US,so the 100 minutes won't be a problem, but the international texting would be a deal breaker.
can anyone with experience on this texting issue please chime in...
Thank you

You can find information on T-Mobile's prepaid international services here: http://prepaid-phones.t-mobile.com/p...#international
You might be interested in Google Voice for international calling and messaging. You can port your number to Google Voice, and then get a new number with T-Mobile. You can then use Google Voice for all of your calls.
You also might be interested in GrooveIP, which will allow you to make calls when connected to a WiFi network. This can help you save the 100 minutes that T-Mobile will give you with that plan.
