I was going to go T-Mobile prepaid monthly and bought a new sim and paid $60 for my first month. I was planning on buying a Nexus 4 from Craigslist but the deal fell through. Now I have an unused sim with a paid month I'm not going to use and can't return. Are there any options of selling it or do I chalk it up as a loss?

Have they actually started your month? I thought that didn't start until you activated the sim. It might be worth calling T-Mobile.
As an FYI, if you're looking at that $60 plan you might consider Solavei (T-Mobile MVNO). It's $49 for unlimited talk /text /data (unthrottled first 4GB).
They are also doing a referral sign up program which can effectively lower this rate.

Yeah that's the thing, they activated the sim in the store. Think I just have to eat it.

Ouch. That's a bummer. I don't know why they activated the sim when you didn't have a phone yet.
I don't know if you're still interested in the Nexus 4. I love mine and definitely give it a positive review.

Yeah I might still grab one and my card is good for 2 years so no biggie. Just hesitant to leave Verizon. I live in a tuff area for coverage and not sure how T-Mobile will be. Thanks
