Re: T-Mobile Uncarrier
$30 per month savings is decent.
I see you have the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G. How do you like T-Mobile's 4G? I would like to switch to T-Mobile but it wouldn't be worth it since my bill is less than $50 per month, unless I shared it with four other people like I said earlier.

Re: T-Mobile Uncarrier
Do you know why Sprint is trying to purchase the rest of the WiMax network through Clearwire? If they're building out a whole new 4G LTE network instead of WiMax I don't understand why they're trying to purchase the rest of WiMax. It doesn't make much sense to me. I would think they'd just forget about WiMax and work on their 4G LTE network and offer WiMax customers a good deal on a new phone.

Re: T-Mobile Uncarrier
That's what I've heard, but I haven't understood why they're trying to purchase them. Maybe it is for the use of their "spectrum". I'm still trying to figure out what that is exactly. If I understand it correctly, it is the ability to use certain frequencies. Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong. I need to do some more research on "spectrum". I think that is why they are purchasing Clearwire though.

Re: T-Mobile Uncarrier
Thank you.
So, the value isn't in the WiMax setup that is currently in some cities, it is just in the spectrum.
I'm thinking this is similar to what Sprint is doing with shutting down iDEN. If I understand it correctly, they want to have 800 Mhz SMR available for Sprint users and that is what iDEN is currently using.

Re: T-Mobile Uncarrier
It is great that they are improving their network by adding LTE. I thought they had stopped building out their network and were only maintaining the WiMax.
Is there a reason why they aren't available in more states? Are they not allowed to put up towers in the other states?
