O.K. so I got a Motorola V551 through Cingular and think that paying
$2.50 + data transfer chargers per ring tone is pretty ridiculous, is
there any way to get new ring tones besides downloading them from
Cingular? Thanks in advance for all advice.

Yeah, cingular does, something like (10-digit number)@cingularme.com
This kind of ties into the guy's original post: My friend created some midi's of some songs he wrote that I'd like to use as ringtones. I have the media net service and read that I could upload the file to a website and then surf the web address using my phone. Would this work?Last edited by starryeyed; 08-07-2005 at 05:31 PM.
