TELUS Samsung A650 BitPim issues

I've searched the forums many times, looking for help with my new TELUS Samsung A650.

I've got a USB cable, and BitPim recognizes the phone using Susteen's USB drivers, but it gives me an error 'transferring from none to brew'.

I have the same problem

I installed the software that came with the usb cable, and windows detects the cable, and the phone says USB CONNECTED but bitpim and gagin cannot connect to it.

I've tried two sets of usb cable drivers, but I get pretty much the same results.

Any ideas?

I have a Samsung a650 from Telus.

I also have the TELUS SCH-A650.
