Sorry if this isn't the best place to put this question. Anyways, I have a phone from South Korea (KTF-X9000) that runs on a CDMA2000 network. Would this be compatible with Telus's CDMA network? Also, as far as I know, none of the Korean phones use SIM cards, so I'd like to know if that'd be an issue too. Thanks in advance.
I sent a message to Telus too. Currently waiting for reply.
Edit: I live in Vancouver, Canada, if that makes a difference.

They CAN activate it, but its against their policy and they will refuse to do it... the only way you could possibly get it working is to know somebody who works at Telus and see if they can pull some strings for you

This is what I got from Telus(Minus my name and personal info.)
Due to programming issues and the technology employed on our network, we do not activate
handsets, modems or mobile computing devices that were manufactured for use with other wireless
service providers. Equipment needs to be developed for compatibility with our network, database,
software, etc. We
can support only hardware that we have tested and approved for our network and which has been
purchased from authorized TELUS Mobility sources, such as a dealer or our Web Store.
Well, I'll keep trying, but I don't expect to succeed...
