Telus data transfer

One quick question about the whole "Telus doesn't allow data transfer" thing. Does it block downloading content to your cellphone AND uploading pictures from your cellphone to your comp? Or does it just block downloading stuff onto your cell?

Tell me what phone you have and I'll tell you if you can transfer pics/ringers to and from your handset to PC.

Telus doesn't block anything you mentioned, but it just tries to block doing those things FOR FREE... which some hacks or simply some know-how you can usually do it all anyway with a datacable

Yeah that's the phone my brother has... Telus did block just about everything good on that phone but luckily you can do a search for something called a "seem edit" and you can find tutorials on how to enable all the crap those Telus bastards took away BTW I've been screwing around with phones for quite a while and I can say that phone is a little harder to crack than average but its completely worth it in the end... I can even point you to somebody who offered to do the hacks for my brother's phone for $20 in mississauga (if you're in the GTA, if not then you better start checking out those tutorials)

Unfortunately, am not in the GTA, am in north central alberta. Guess it's time to start reading and see if I can NOT fry the phone. Thanks for the info.
