Im on the Talk WInnipeg Plan (24/7 Calling for $30) and i wanna use a Sim Based phone (larger selection of phones) but i dont wanna lose my contact. is there any way to have my cdma service transfered to a gsm service? PLEASE HELP! | ||||||

| Unfortunately not in Canada as far as I know. Both Telus and Bell have phones capable of both CDMA and GSM (the motorola a840) but the GSM band they use is useless unless you go overseas. There are some very nice phones coming for Telus within the next 2months so just sit tight for a bit. Look at Bell's new Samsung A920, that's a beauty... telus will be getting something similar to that as well as the V3c Razr phone soon (Razr will probably be first week of Feb unless there are further delays). Also the CDMA razor is actually considerably better than the old GSM one Rogers carries now! | ||||||
