RAZR and Downloading Ringtones

After forking for the RAZR and the software disk and USB connector I come to find that it is near impossible to load ringtones. I can get them into the phone, but cannot load them into the ringtone list.

Is there a fix for this or is Telus just looking to suck me into paying for the song from their pathetic list?
