LG 8100 vs LG 535

Im the previous owner of a samsung A600 wich i was pretty happy with in its day (kind of old technology these days), but unfortunatly i cracked the screen and telus wants 200 bucks for repair when a whole new phone is the same price. So now i figure its time to upgrade. Origionally I was looking at the V-710 but ruled it out due to poor reviews and camera quality. I've heard the pic quality is very good on the lg535 but im sure the 8100 is all round comparable to the 535. I want somting with a good quality mp3 player as well as a camera and video recorder, but also need sumthing that can stand up to a bit of abuse. I plan on hacking whatever i get so i can set up mp3's for ringtones and load my phone with media. So really im just hoping that someone might have some info or advice for me into what phone would best fit my needs.

the LG8100 is what you want.. without a doubt. I got my V710 just before the 8100 came out and i was a little miffed about. I do love my v710, it does everything i want it to do.. but the LG8100 does everything just a bit better.

I don't know if this will help you decide or not, but I always recommend phonescoop to compare phone features, and if you browse around on their site they have some pretty good reviews most of the time. Check out this link, I've compared all four phones in your post, including your old a600.

i like my 535 but it's fricken bulky. i think i'd go with the 8100
