    So...Currently..
    Buying a RAZR v3i at TigerDirect.ca
    Also buying Telus.net BC SuperTalk20 plan
    --
    So what happens with my unlocked phone? do i take it in? do they get mad? or do they give me a sim card, and i put it in or what?

    I hope you haven't paid for the phone yet...first, the V3i is a GSM phone, and Telus uses CDMA technology. It's like trying to run a car on kerosene. Also, Telus will not allow any phone to be activated on their network that was not registered on their system at some point, which means it would have to be a current or past Telus phone to be activated.

    Sorry for the bad news. If you've already bought the phone, try Rogers (which runs GSM technology), or Fido, although they are likely strict on serial numbers as well.

    No they do not restict ESN numbers. Just buy a fido activation kit which gives you the sim card you simply insert into the v3i. I have the phone it is a great phone. Everything I want. If you do go with fido pm me and I can give you an activation code.
