Telus/Nokia 6265i : issues with PC Suite APplication installer

I have been trying in vain to make PC Suite 6.81 to recognize my Telus 6265i as a valid phone device for app. install. I have tried using BT connectivity as well as USB connectivity (CA-53 cable & drivers) In the phone selector 6265i appears greyed-out. All the other PC Suite apps (file xfer, sync, contacts) work fine over BT or USB. As well Nokia's Theme Studio 2.1 works fine. A similar app depployment issue can be observed while trying to deploy .jad applications with CarbideJ 1.5: the phone connection is established but the deployment fails. I don't know where the issue is - is that a locking feature that Telus did not mention? Or maybe is a compatibility issue? It's funny because Nokia specifically mentions the PC Suite App. install capability for 6265i.

yeah telus disabled it to make users download them with the mobile internet....but theres apparently a way to get around it. some people say the 6265i can't be unlocked others claim they have it unlocked. i have this phone and im trying my ass off right now to try to unlock it because of all the extra crap that comes with the phone that i dont want (that stupid snake game for example)

I have installed Diego 3.07 and it recognizes my 6265i, I can read all its configurations and, supposedly, change them, but 1) I'm not sure which setting I have to change to activate the .jad upload to the phone 2) Not sure about the final result (i.e having a phone vs a brick afterwards). Could you or anyone else who already went through this exercise help me with some advice?

where you get that program Diego 3.07 ??

Hey! I'm pretty new here, and i am having the same problems with stupid Telus. Nor my PCSuite sees the phone, nor I can set up my mp3's as ringtones. I got Diego ver. 3.0 and it doesn't support 6265i, searching for ver. 3.07 I found nothing... Can you direct me to the place you found yours?

Ok...got it to work. All you have to do is to change the options for Java so phone will see them on the sd card (you have to have an sd card though)

I did not have any trouble hooking up Diego with my 6265i and my friends aswell. Maybe mine came unlocked.

can someone send me diego or mobimb for nokia 6265i plz im really need applications

I tried Diego 3.09, buyt get one of two errors.

1. If Diego installed before PC Suite - no cable connectivity - program exits.

2. If trying to install Diego after PC Suite - cable connectvity is newer than this version - install reversing.

Is there a newer Diego to use? Where can I find it?
