Voicemail problems.....

Hello Everyone, I am new to the board....

Just got a little bit of a problem here with my voicemail and I was hoping someone could help me out before i got to the Telus Kiosk where I got my phone, Just to tell you I have been with Telus since April 06 (*switching over from MTS*) I have a Motorola Razr V3C so i don't know if this is a problem with my phone or if the company made a error. This has happened recently.

Here is what happens:
I go to my voicemail , it tells me how many messages I have then it tells me to press 1 to check new/ review old messages, then I press 1 and it keeps talking about the options, so I press 1 and the voice says "are you still there???" then it repeats the options, so I press 1 again and it don't work it says "are you still there" it gets really annoying cause my messages (some very important ones) are "trapped" and I can't access them.....

Hopefully some one can help me out. Thanks....

Hey man....might be your phone...i know the motorola (including the razor) has a lot of issues like that. I would go to the telus rep right away if i were you...they will probably send the phone to motorola though cuz youve had it for a while now....anyways let me know what happens...

Question. when you press the 1 key, do YOU hear the beep. could be that your settings are screwed where the tone is muted.

sorry, just one more thing. you can perform a test on the touch tone by calling a number where you know it will prompt you to enter someones extension. If you can get through that way, it's not the tone.
