I work at a small Telus dealer, and with the 8100 I've found quality-wise it's hit and miss. Some work great, but plenty come back with software problems/power issues. People who do get a good phone seem to like it, and there's always the 30-day direct exchange policy in case of a defect. However, we've had much better luck with the Samsung a950, which function-wise, is essentially the same phone. The main differences are the Samsung comes with a 32MB MicroSD card (LG uses MiniSD and doesn't come with any), has a scroll wheel on the outside of the phone, and has an internal antenna. As for headsets, they both come with them, but I'm not sure how the quality is. If it's unsatisfactory, you can always get an adapter to make regular headphones fit the phone's plug-in.
