Searching for the right plan

Thinking of getting myself a cell phone. Never had one before and friends have told me to get one so...

I was thinking of getting a krzr k1m, but I'm completely lost with the plans. I've checked out the telus site, and I'll most likely be ordering online. I'll probably want one with unlimited text messaging, but I couldn't find a plan with unlimited on the site. I most likely won't use very many talking minutes, might toy around with the internet email thing.

What do you guys think?

Ask yourself if you want to take advantage of the "double-your-minutes" promotion going on right now. As you've stated that you wouldn't be using that many minutes, it may not be the case. However, I'd like to mention it since it's a good deal at the moment and you might want it for the future. Another thing to look at is free incoming calling. Without the feature, you'd be paying for every call you receive.

Regarding unlimited text messaging, you're going to want to sign up for one of the SPARK bundles, listed here: products & services / SPARK / how do I get SPARK? / add a SPARK bundle - TELUS Mobility - Alberta
As you can see, the SPARK 15 bundle and above include what you need.
