Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, the privacy laws in Canada are a lot more rigid than in the States where there are some pay services which have access to the registered cell phone cross directory information. In this particular case, the search does confirm that there's a specific province (local), name and address that's attached to the number but will not sell it if it's outside the US. Again, any ideas on how to be resourceful is very much appreciated. We probably will visit the local police in the near future but would rather not since it reveals a lack of trust on our part. I hope you successfully resolved your situation. The little girl who disappeared in Vt, supposedly to meet someone she was secretly talking to online has only deepened our concern.
