Used "Mike' phone, Possible to activate it???

A friend of mine just gave me a "Mike" phone that had recently been in service thru telus. Can i reactivate that phone with a new plan under my name??? Thanks

Ya you shouldn't have a problem transfering the phone over, just make sure that your friend calls up Telus to give the "OK"
