Telus Crosses internet with cellphone?

I am recently new to cellphones (i know i know).
I live in Alberta, Canada.
Is it possible to use my wireless router for my laptop with my cellphone instead . So i dont have to pay those ridiculous data serivices that my blackberry uses
My regualr internet provider is also telus.
