LG8600 Telus picture problems

I have an LG 8600 on telus plan.

I received a picture attached to a text and everytime I try to open it the phone freezes and restarts. I have made lots of memory available so I dont think that is the problem. I also had them resend it twice with the same issue. Any suggestions?

I was hoping that the picture would also be sent to my Telus online album but I am not sure if thats how it works. Anyone know how I would access it there?
