prepaid: activation credit and refurbished phones

Hi,
I'm considering to buy a prepaid telus phone. I will stay in montreal just few months so i'm looking for the cheapest solution. new phones come with activation credit of 20$, while refurbished come with 50$. Anybody knows if this credit expires? I would mainly use the "one number unlimited" option for 7$/month so 50$ would be enough to me for more than 3 or 4 months.

$50 prepaid credit only good for 60 Days.
$100 prepaid credit only good for 365 Days.

Suggest you activate your Telus phone first, than get your Telus e-care on line account and password. In the ecare , you can select auto top-up $10 for every 30 days.

You can activate "one number unlimited" option online also, If you like, you can get a " Magic cell number " , combine this 2 services, you can get unlimited incoming and outgoing minutes on your telus cell phone.

Google " magic cell number ", you will learn the trick.
