IPhone 4 was it now Rogers on Telus

Hi,

I have an iPhone 4, this phone was locked at Rogers. Asked Rogers to unlock it.
Did the Itune restore, got the message from Itune que le phone was unlocked.
Installed the Telus sim into the phone, and it worked (was ble to call, receive call, go on internet, etc.).
Purpose playing with the options of the phone, when i go Settings / Carrier / switch off the automatic I get no Rogers Wireless Telus, Bell ... No. Any idea?
Is it a fluke?
