Hi
"Orange strive to supply customers with the highest level of service" then
why is 07973100439 permanently barred.
Any one got an alternate way to contact orange technical support or even
customer service as 450 will not accept my PAC Vodafone number as a valid
Orange number.
Dialled 07973100439 and followed option 2 , 2 and talked to a Human. Seems
PAC's can take a while to propagate onto the orange Database.

If you managed to get through, it wasn't permanently barred?

You need Steve Terry's Orange Contacts List at:

That isn't the right number, the premium technical support number is for
issues with the Internet site and a couple of other things.
You need to speak to someone in Customer Services and have them sort it
or escalate it for you. Take it you're on PAYG, the number for their
helpdesk is 451 or 07973100451.

439 from the Orange handset will get you straight through.

Because this number in both its forms costs 50p / minute to call, it is
"permanently barred" on many companies' pabxs.
As it is where I work.
The message is coming from the telephone system where you're calling
from, not Orange.

And BT state that 07973 number range is a standard Orange number -
therefore you cannot be charged 50p per minute from a BT line to call it.

Yeah - I thought it was just the same as a charge to an Orange mobile.

Re: Day 1 on orange and not impressed
OK, I've only ever used 439 from my Orange mobile.
Now tried it from three different fixed phones. 2 were BT and the
other is employer's non-BT system. Got same message on all three for
07973100439, so either everyone bars it or its a non-existent number.

The landline equivalent for 439 used to be an 0906 number, but I have no
record of what is was.
