Anyone else had trouble with the K750i joystick? Sometimes it won't
scroll up or down.. I keep pressing, then all of a sudden it works,
shooting past the item I wanted to select, then it won't work backwards.
It's driving me crazy!
The phone is on O2 contract - should they replace it? I've had it about
6 months.

The one on my k500i is just the same; pretty sure the contacts are full
of crap. I reckon a good cleaning would sort it, but I can't figure out
how to open the case without risking a high probability of breaking it
totally; so I live with it and use key presses instead wherever possible!

Totally common, it's just dust. If you could open your k750i, you'd see jsut
how much dust gets in it!

I had two brand new ones that had a similar problem. Gonna try a third
tomorrow, getting it from a shop so will check it first.

Run the homeupdate service to upgrade your firmware.

If anything, that'll make things worse. Most phones update to r1n035 now,
the old r1L firmware only had 4 positions for the joystick; the new firmware
has 8 (basically includes diagonal directions), so that's why folk are
finding things funny. Plus, the dust problem.
